Excellent cabinet from Sysracks. This is the second similar cabinet from Sysracks and it worked great with the DVR and network switches.. Just make sure to choose the correct depth as the first cabinet we ordered was slightly deeper than we needed.. Have to say, the cabinets are good quality and well packed to survive during shipping. Easy to assemble, no drill, no hammer, just a screwdriver and all self tapping screws go in easelly. Was completed in 15-20 min.. Also, very simple to wall mount as there the kit comes with a cardboard sample with the mounting holes pattern.Better product than I was expecting. Perfect size for home network.CONSKeep in mind this cabinet is too tight to fit a lot of the larger industry grade equipment. My Cisco switch only just barely fits in this thing and its such a tight fit I worry about potential strain on the power cables at the back.I would recommend buying a cabinet with an additional inch of depth, though I do believe this company offers such models.Aside from that:1. Cabinet only came with enough server rack screw mounts for 4U, which was a tad bit annoying. Luckily some of my products I bought for it came with screw mounts of their own, but even after that I am short 1U worth of screw mounts and had to order a pack. In other words, do yourself a favor and just order a pack of server rack screw mounts at the same time as this.2. The top and bottom openings for passing through cables arrive closed up with a removable panel. Make sure you have a good small file on hand to remove the small panels if you want to be passing cables in and out of this rack. Luckily, I happened to have a full set of files so it was a non issue, but I could see it being annoying for someone buying it and not expecting to need extra tools to get their rack into working order. Though it may be possible to get the metal panels popped off by hand, you WOULD be left with sharp metal edges that will very easily damage cables passed by. Just do yourself a favor and make sure you have a very small file to clean it up.3. Front door locks but side panels pop off easily even if door is currently locked. I was kind of expecting some sort of mechanism where the front door had to be opened before you could pop the side panels off. There was not, they just click and pop out, which honestly kind of renders the security of the lock meaningless. You can put in screws (not included) I think to permanently affix the side panels, but then whats the point of having them?PROSIts solid, the glass is nice and clear, it has decent acoustics and keeps things quiet, it looks sharp and clean, and it doesnt weigh *too* much.However due to cons above Im giving it 4/5 stars. It got the job done okay enough so for that Im not returning it, however if I were to buy another cabinet in the future, I would definitely be buying a different model.If I knew all these issues to begin with I would have bought something else. Hoping to save buyers the time.The unit has a state-of-the-art lock on the front and can't lock on the sides. Useless for theft preventionThe ground screw comes on the door which swivels. Once connected it makes the door always want to close on you when working on it.There are tons of pieces and needs assembly. Takes about 45 min to set up.Given that the ground screw is on the door which latches into a plastic sleeve it is easily assumable that the rack won't be properly grounded. Therefore you'd probably have to put a screw through the rack to prevent issues in the future.You can easily find racks of this style online for 120$ but don't expect to use it in a commercial location. It's unfit for this purpose.Once assembled, the one we bought was about 50mm too narrow for a full 19" width shelf. That said, I'm tempted to blame the shelf.Well made, and does the job perfectly.
