A lot of reviews complain about ease of install.... so the instructions were one page and for something like this you’d expect a ten page installation manual. But it wasn’t that hard if you take the time. It slides well and holds the weight for pots and pans. I had to make some adjustments to the cabinet for it to fit properly. If your cabinets have no lips then you are good. Otherwise you will need to cut the lips out on the side you install the equipment.If you have to cut the lips out you may need to consider getting a new cabinet door so it is wider to cover your cuts.But you can always put in spacers to mount the equipment with the lip.Either way, don’t trust the negative reviews. This isn’t legos and it doesn’t hold your hand through the installation. But if you have more experience then assembling IKEA furniture you will be fine.Got it late due to late shipment with no fault of the seller but more of the shipper. Item came in a bit damaged. It doesn't look like it has the same length on top as the bottom, once mounted up I will update.So happy about this spice rack! Didn’t hear any swear words at my awesome husband put it in so it’s easy to assemble. I didn’t think I was going to be able to use all 3 shelves but it works!!! So loving have all my spices in one spot and visible.This is the worst product I've ever purchased through Amazon! I’m sorry I didn’t listen to the other negative reviews. Problems include 1.) The directions were terrible! They need to be more explicit on the assembly of the product. The instructions sheet is just one two-sided piece of paper (and an inventory recap of the parts is 1/4 of the front page). The drawings are not detailed sufficiently to guide you through assembly. I had to go back to the website and YouTube videos to look at actual pictures of the assembled unit for help. Since the shelf is supposed to extend out of the cabinet opening, the flat metal lever arm that is control the action is a key piece. The " lever arm" piece that I received must have been from an earlier version of the product as I cannot figure out where it attaches to the frame that enables the product to function properly. I consider myself handy and have assembled dozens of ready to assemble products and this is the first I haven't been able to figure out. 2,) Somewhere along the way, the product was dropped. One of the hooks that hold the chrome shelves to the frame was bent and I had a real difficult time bending it back into shape. 3.) The capacity of the shelf is much much less than we expected. In short, the shelf is a great idea but the execution is very poor. My advice is STAY AWAY!I had a cabinet that I barely used because it was narrow and deep (10x24" I think). I've been looking for awhile but the prices were in the $200 range and I wasn't sure they'd fit so I didn't pull the trigger. Then I found this and for the price and ease of returns I decided we try it. My husband installed it with in an hour and I love it! It is heavy duty and gives me so much more storage!This is a great idea, just maybe not for standard American cabinets, it will not open through a standard 20 inch high opening. I did not measure height as that should be standard. Would have been a great solution if only 3 inches shorter.It’s heavy duty, I’m not a professional and found it a little difficult to install, however it is an excellent purchase.
