This is definitely a case of "you get what you pay for". It is made out of cheap, unfinished, lightweight wood and it feels so fragile when you take it out of the box. I'm suspecting it will last a couple years if we take care of it, and it hasn't given us a problem since we put it out days ago. It was really easy to put together, but it ended up slightly uneven, which is fine because our floors are uneven anyway. It weighs almost nothing. It come with 2 shelves, 4 legs, 2 long extra pieces of wood, 5 long screws and 4 short screws. I ended up using the extra pieces as diagonal support on the underside of the shelves.I will follow up with this review after we've had a big snow-in and see if it withstands getting snow sludge all over it.At first I was not impressed, with no instructions. It is not a fancy piece, but that is expect. I did figure out how to put it together; thankfully I had another type of shoe stand to go off from. You will need tools to put it together, you may have extra screw left over, as I did. Having a drill with a screw bit if very helpful and makes it easier. It went together quickly. It functions as it is supposed to function, a shoe rack.Materials look and feel cheap, there are no instructions included for assembly, and I somehow wound up with two extra pieces and no idea where they fit. Barely worth the price I paid but it suits the purpose and I don't feel like tearing it apart to return it.It's what I expected for the price, which is fine. But it comes partly unassembled with zerio instructions. While it's simple, you will want to have the photo from the website handy to be sure you know how to put it together.Wow, this thing is super cheap, and super cheap feeling. This thing is pretty brittle feeling and outputs the feeling of cheap. +1 Star for doing what it needs, but most of my wood parts didn't fit and i had to shave down some of the parts to put it together properly. It was so unnecessarily hard to put together for something so cheap. It works, but flimsy as they come and no guide holes pre-drilled for assembly.Okay looking shoe rack. It was quite easy when I put all the parts together until I got to the last screw and was not able to drive it it. Took me half an hour with a hammer and an automatic screwdriver to finish the work. There was probably a defect that this hole was not pre-drilled.I don't know about everyone else, but mine came exactly as expected. It's cheap, but it's certainly not crap. Works well for my heels flats and sneakers. You get what you pay for. If you need something sturdier, expect to pay a little more.
