The pull-out design of the hooks adds a much-needed smoothness to product handling, unlike with other racks. With 4-storage racks and 6 free S-shaped hooks, you can easily store pots, pans, and spoons in plain sight making them easy to access. It's easy to assemble, sturdy, and a good value for the money.Besides all the little pieces of staticky Styrofoam all over to vacuum up as pulling the pieces out, the hardware was clearly sorted and labeled, and the installation process was pretty simple. Fortunately, they included an extra screw type "A", as one of the ones included had no notches to turn (smooth head instead of notched out for phillips driver.) Part "4" (AKA top shelf) perplexed me, in that "MADE IN CHINA" was boldly painted across the surface (and in such a way that it isn't concealed during installation). This wasn't a sticker that peeled off or even something that wipes off (I couldn't get it to fade or come off scrubbing with cleaner.), if it was about an inch closer to the edge it would get concealed during installation against a rail (but still why oh why would you even do that as a manufacturer? The outer box clearly indicates this, and I feel there should never be a reason for this to have been applied across a finished wood surface of furniture.) Fortunately, due to the relatively low height of this unit, it isn't really conspicuous. The unit assembled simply and is nice and sturdy.I just got this cart hoping to use it for my 2 microwaves and 2 toaster ovens.It goes together pretty easily but the screws will strip out in the particle board shelves with only using a hand screwdriver.I have 2 1100 watt microwaves so they are pretty big and they barely fit on the top 2 shelves. There's less than 1/4 of an inche for them to slide past the metal support sides on the 2nd shelf so it's a super tight fit and you can't push it back too far or the door won't be able to open. This is 1 improvement I would make by making it at least 1 inch wider.I tried to put my 2 toaster ovens on the 2 bottom shelves but the slide out shelf above the bottom shelf is too low and you can't adjust the height of the slide out shelf since it's pre-installed for you. This is another improvement I would make so it could be adjusted in height for bigger things on the bottom; shelf especially, if all the really heavy stuff is on top, then it's top heavy and can easily be tipped over.It felt pretty sturdy as I slid it in place even with 2 large microwaves on the top 2 shelves and a large toaster oven on the slide out shelf.I'm not sure how much weight you can put on the slide out shelf since if you pull it out, it might break or fall off the slide brackets and I don't want to find that out on my own.I would say that I'm about 90% happy with this item because I was able to put my 2 large microwaves and a large toaster oven on it and it feels pretty sturdy so far.This was a highly needed and much anticipated item… And it did not disappoint!! During lockdown I spent time learning new kitchen gadgets but, I have nowhere to store them! This is perfect solution for add-ons in the kitchen and looks nice doing so.. I loving the new bakers rack!Assembly is manageable. You’ll need plenty of space to spread out + organize pieces. Yess! you’ll want to follow instructions for sure.. And if its possible- make this a 2 person build (x1 hold parts steady while other connects!) it could be built alone- just a tad harder. *Careful tightening screws! Wanting secure and stable is good.. but, over tightening will strips these screws quite easy- So, dont overdo it!Once complete this feels sturdy enough to hold items without worry.. mine is on travertine tile, so it needed foot adjustment/positioning to eliminate a little wobble. (I found- wobble from floor not the rack itself. So if you have a shimmy be sure floor surface isn’t the cause.)This has no problem holding its expected weight. I’ve placed air fryer, hotel style waffle maker, Keurig, electric frying pan and Electric peeler on various shelves.. and I still have room for 1-2 items if need be. We had issue with Keurig height hitting shelf just above so it was placed on the top instead so, you have a few options! Love the slide out feature with x1 shelf… a total perk and makes retrieval of bigger appliance easier! But, my all-time favorite feature are the metal hooks hung on the side.. these are so great!! These give the entire rack it’s character- Ive hung my “nice” pot holders, hand towel.. and stainless soup ladle. (I do wish the bar for hooks was up x1 shelf level- but, not a deal breaker.)This bakers rack is a great solution for any needing extra space in the kitchen. It easily can be extra storage or become a focal point.. nothing about this screams cheap. Im loving the addition and convenience its brought- i find if items are closer/easy to get.. the more likely you will use. Hoping this info helps your decision… Bon appétit!
